FLT Counterbalance Driver – Trafford Park People Solutions are currently recruiting for FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park. This is a fantastic opportunity offering immediate starts, flexible shift patterns, ongoing work, weekly pay and genuine temp-to-perm opportunities within a busy and supportive warehouse environment. In-house Counterbalance licences are also accepted This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an FLT Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Warehouse Operative. Rates of Pay: • Day Shift: £12.71 per hour • Night Shift: £13.82 per hour Shift Patterns: Day Shifts: • 06:00 – 18:00 (4 ON / 1 OFF rolling rota) • 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday Night Shifts: • 18:00 – 06:00 (4 ON / 1 OFF rolling rota) • 20:00 – 06:00 Monday to Friday Benefits: As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will receive: • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Overtime available • Immediate starts available • Potential temp-to-perm opportunities • On-site canteen • Free on-site parking • Good public transport links Day-to-Day Duties: As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include: • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently • Loading and unloading vehicles • Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting faults • Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets • Checking quantities and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods • Organising stock ready for dispatch • Moving goods safely around the warehouse • Following all warehouse health and safety procedures at all times Essential Skills: To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver you will need: • Valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance Licence • In-house Counterbalance licences will also be accepted • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck • Good communication skills • Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness • Reliable and self-motivated attitude • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of warehouse duties • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience: • Previous warehouse experience • Previous FLT Counterbalance experience Training Provided: • Full training provided • Assessment required prior to starting • Ongoing support throughout the assignment Apply: If you are looking for work as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
