We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join an amazing specialist SEN school in King’s Lynn. This is a full-time, long-term role providing 1:1 support to a female student, while also offering general assistance across the wider student community as needed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students with additional needs and making a real difference in a nurturing educational setting.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 tailored support to a female student with special educational needs.
2. Assist in delivering engaging learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
3. Support students with their emotional, social, and academic development.
4. Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students.
5. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other staff to track progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
6. Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 capacity.
7. Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to adapt to changing situations and meet individual student needs.
9. A proactive, team-player attitude.
10. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential with the right experience.
