The Role
The Programmatic Account Manager will be responsible for planning and activating programmatically bought media campaigns. This includes working with open funnels, premium inventory, or bidding approaches using DSPs to meet campaign KPIs, ensuring ongoing optimization, and analyzing campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build media plans aligned with client KPIs.
2. Conduct in-depth post-campaign analysis beyond topline metrics.
3. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of premium display and programmatic advertising.
4. Collaborate with other channels in an integrated performance approach.
5. Stay updated on industry products and test new strategies within allowed matrices.
6. Ensure campaigns align with overall media plans and are approved by Account Directors.
7. Apply knowledge across platforms based on client needs.
8. Develop expertise in search and biddable media, including PPC and social activities.
9. Assist and mentor junior team members and track their progress.
Skills and Experience
Required
* Agency or client-side experience managing programmatic campaigns on DV360 or TradeDesk.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and develop recommendations.
* High attention to detail and understanding of optimization levers across platforms.
Desired
* Experience with display campaigns on Search, PPC, or Social.
* Line management experience.
* Knowledge of Google Analytics, CM360, other Adserving platforms, and DSPs like Quantcast, Amazon, Yahoo.
