As a Senior Safety Case Engineer within our Business Winning, you'll bring your deep safety case knowledge to the early phases of project development. This is a full-time role based at one of our main sites: Warrington (Cheshire), Preston (Lancashire), Leicester (Leicestershire), Newbury (Berkshire), or Bristol with travel to other Cavendish Nuclear and customer locations as required. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
Day-to-day you'll be required to:
* Lead safety-case contributions to major bids.
* Develop safety case scopes, schedules, and verification plans.
* Produce and review safety case documentation and technical reports.
* Support hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
* Promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Essential experience for the Senior Safety Case Engineer:
* Proven experience within a highly regulated environment.
* Experience contributing to safety case documentation.
* Understanding of ALARP principles and ONR Safety Assessment Principles.
* Ability to prepare technical analyses and safety submissions.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Qualifications of the Senior Safety Case Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
