Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections, investigations and project work across the borough to support businesses and protect consumers.
* Primarily work within the Pollution Control Team while also engaging in all aspects of Environmental Health work to gain a broad range of experience.
* Collaborate with residents, partners, businesses and other organisations to build partnerships that facilitate regulatory compliance and public health outcomes.
Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Environmental Health or a related discipline.
* Commitment to complete the CIEH EHO Pathway Qualification within 12 months from appointment.
* Strong motivation to work flexibly and engage in ongoing professional development.
* English language proficiency at an appropriate standard for the role.

* Basic Criminal Record Check required.
* Applicants must provide a reasonable account of any significant periods (6 months or more in the past 3 years) spent living abroad.
