Business Development Manager (Events & Venues) West Sussex Up to £42,000 + comms Overview Our client is a large, established multi-use event venue in Sussex, hosting a wide range of public and private events. The venue has a strong existing events portfolio and is now focused on accelerating growth by attracting additional premium, professionally run events. This is a new business-led role, suited to a confident, entrepreneurial sales professional with experience in event, venue, or hospitality sales. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board to drive revenue growth and fill remaining diary availability with high-quality events. Key Objectives Identify and secure new business from professional organisers, promoters, and event owners. Attract established events currently hosted at other venues, as well as new concepts seeking a long-term home. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, delivering quarterly targets aligned to the annual budget. Develop commercially compelling proposals and negotiate contracts to close new business. Represent the venue professionally within the events market and at industry meetings.Candidate Proven track record in B2B sales.
