Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Leicester for a Laser Manager. The role involves overseeing laser cutting operations, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining high-quality output. The Laser Manager will manage a team of skilled operators, coordinate schedules to meet project deadlines, and troubleshoot technical issues. Responsibilities also include optimizing machine usage, supervising workflow, maintaining safety standards, and liaising with clients and other departments to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
Qualifications
* Experience in laser cutting operations, machine programming, and troubleshooting
* Skills in team leadership, scheduling, and workflow coordination
* Knowledge of quality control standards and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in understanding technical drawings and specifications
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and experience in metal fabrication would be advantageous
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant technical or engineering qualifications are preferred
