Fusion 2K Ltd is recruiting for an assistant level Talent Executive. This is currently a hybrid position, working full-time Mon - Fri combining a minimum of 3 days in the office in Bedfordshire with 2 remote working days if preferred.
The Talent Executive plays a key supporting role within the Talent and Operations team, assisting with the recruitment, coordination, and ongoing management of Fusion’s network of external event contractors. This is a varied, fast-paced role that combines recruitment support, database administration, and day-to-day communication with talent and internal stakeholders. The Talent Executive helps ensure that the right people are available, informed, and prepared to deliver high-quality experiences for clients and events.
The position would suit an organised and personable early-career professional with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and an interest in recruitment, events, or talent management. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while contributing to a positive experience for both talent and colleagues.
Role & Responsibilities
* Assisting the Talent Manager with the recruitment and retention of external talent contractors, including but not limited to, screening CV’s, talking to candidates, booking, and participating in interviews (in person or via telephone/ Zoom/ Teams)
* Assist with the administration of, preparation for and occasionally participate in, Fusion led training events.
* Have an understanding of e-learning training techniques and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages.
* Assist the Talent Team with the upkeep and administration of the Fusion online database (PARiM) which includes:
o Ensuring staff records are kept up to date
o Gathering feedback internally/externally
o Monthly Mailers
* Build strong and effective relationships with external talent to ensure identified talent is engaged and receive a positive experience of Fusion.
* Support the wider Fusion office with any queries in relation to external talent contractors and occasionally assisting with booking individuals on jobs where time is pressured.
* Managing phone calls, emails, enquiries, and requests in the Talent Manger’s absence, and deputising/ handling them when appropriate.
* Assisting with the logistics and delivery of mystery shopping.
* Supporting the Talent Manager with ad-hoc talent projects.
* Email management – responses / creating folders in Outlook & filing messages accordingly.
* Flexible to attend events where required.
* Reception lunch cover - min of 3 days.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a fast-paced office environment.
* Diplomacy skills – able to diffuse situations.
* Personable – able to build a rapport with ease.
* A confident, efficient, enthusiastic, and highly organised individual with a flexible working nature, excellent multi-tasking skills, can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise.
* An excellent communicator (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals professionally.
* Highly efficient use of Microsoft packages, as well as an ability to develop a good understanding and proficiency in using Fusion’s online database (PARiM).
* Proficient PowerPoint skills – able to create training guides.
* Proficient Excel skills – able to create a staffing matrix.
* Excellent grammar, both written and verbal with strong proof-reading skills.
* Proficient with Teams / technically adept.
* Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* High attention to detail and work to a high standard.
* Resourceful, self-starting, and excellent use of initiative.
* Honest, reliable, and able to work with discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
* Recruitment experience would be useful.
* Events experience would be useful.
* Proficient with social media platforms.
* An understanding of GDPR regulations.
* Punctual
* Full UK Driving Licence.
