Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial and Domestic Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional service. Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Flexibility and reliability are essential qualities for this position.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, and commercial premises according to specified standards
* utilise cleaning equipment and products effectively to ensure hygienic environments
* Maintain organised cleaning schedules and complete tasks within designated timeframes
* Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas
* Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or damages
* Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries
* Demonstrate excellent customer service by respecting clients' property and privacy
* Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when required
Experience
* Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
* Experience in hotel housekeeping or domestic cleaning roles is advantageous
* Skills in cooking are considered a bonus but are not mandatory
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional manner
* Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial attributes for success in this role
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
