Early Careers level Noise and Vibration Engineer
We’re looking for an Early Careers level Noise and Vibration Engineer to join our team in Leatherhead, supporting our global design and engineering projects.

About the role
You’ll be working as part of a wider Technical Safety and Environmental Team across a range of industry sectors to deliver world class projects.
Industrial acoustics addresses noise and vibration control in Process Equipment, Piping, Valves, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Public Address General Alarm (PAGA) and architecture. KBR is committed to helping our customers deliver a more sustainable future through the solutions we provide.
Your responsibilities:
* Identify project specific legislation, standards, codes, practices and procedures.
* Develop philosophies or basis of design.
* Develop calculations or models and compare predicted N&V levels against the required limits.
* Support projects in the identification of noise and vibration reduction, control or mitigation measures.
* Support Package Responsible Engineers (PRE) through procurement phase particularly during vendor liaisons.
Education, Skills and Experience:
* Degree in noise and vibration, physics or an engineering discipline e.g. mechanical engineering.
* Relevant field or industry experience.
* Member of a relevant engineering, science or environmental institute (preferably).
