Service Care Solutions has a new opportunity available in the Derby area! The role involves working as an emergency call handler for the elderly, managing calls from residents with emergency button assistance installed in their homes.
Derby City Council is seeking a new team member to assist with inbound calls from the elderly community living independently.
The team provides a 24-hour emergency monitoring and response service, supporting individuals through their telecare system available 24/7, 365 days a year.
Customers activate a support call at any time via their alarm unit or sensors. Call Handlers will assess the situation and respond accordingly, including contacting emergency services if needed.
This is a full-time night shift role, working from 23:00 to 07:00 on a rota, paying between £15.98 and £20.00 per hour.
Requirements:
* Driving license
* Experience in call handling or a care background
* Enhanced DBS check
* Previous experience as a team leader or supervisor
* Experience working with the elderly
