Logistics Coordinator £35,000 plus benefits The Logistics Coordinator ensures the efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the global supply chain. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and customer operations by coordinating shipments, optimising logistics processes and costs and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Duties for the Logistics Coordinator: * Manage inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and finished goods. * Co-ordinate daily, bi-weekly or weekly shipments to customers in line with customer and production schedules. * Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) i.e. status of product, finished goods between sites, out for delivery and ensure proof of delivery received. * Assist with product packing and labelling. * Plan and schedule domestic and international shipments. In line with customers terms. Ensure correct weights and dimensions. * Prepare shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. Ensure all finished goods are post goods invoiced. * Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and customs brokers to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency. * Ensure adherence to export control regulations (e.g. EORI, EAR, ITAR, Tariff codes), HTS classifications, and global trade compliance requirements. * Maintain accurate logistics reco...
