Job description
To manage the day to day administration of the practice in an efficient and effective manner, to ensure a high quality of service delivery to patients.
Responsibilities
* Manage Practice Staff
* Manage Information & Communication
* Market & Improve Patient Services
* Manage the Practice Finances
* Manage Practice Premises & Physical Resourses
* Partner & GP Administration
* Complaints Management
* To take overall responsibility for the practice in GP Partner's absence
* Undertake any reasonable duties as required of the post
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* 4 years experience in a GP setting in a managerial or supervisory post or 4 years managerial experience in an office environment
* Evidence of a sound education to A Level standard or equivalent
* Evidence of on-going professional development
* Managing staff & team, staff performancwe management and appraisals
Desirable Skills
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Relevant qualifications in healthcare and/ or business management
* Use of EMISWEB
* Financial mangement, Human Resources, Strong leadership skills, Experience of Change Management, Awareness of Data Protection
Further Information
Hours of work: 28 per week - Mon 8.30am - 4pm, Tues 8.30am - 5.30pm, Wed OFF, Thurs 8.30am - 5.30pm & Fri 9am - 1pm. Salary: £38,000 per annum, pro-rata. NHS pension. On-site parking. A full job description is available if selected for interview
