Early Years Practitioner - Permanent Role
Location: Highbridge, Somerset
Start: ASAP
Hours: 08:15 - 15:15, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.96 - £16.30 per hour (Dependant on Pay Type)
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and nurturing primary school, working as part of their Early Years team on a Long Term/Permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed practitioner who is enthusiastic about supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
The Role
* Supporting children across Nursery/Reception within the schools Early Years setting
* Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, play‑based learning activities
* Providing high-quality care in line with EYFS requirements
* Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher and wider EYFS team
* Offering 1:1 or group support where required
* Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
* Paediatric First Aid certificate - essential
* Experience working within an Early Years environment
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
* An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
