A premium ready-meal producer in Co. Tyrone is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to support a busy and growing food production facility. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and works closely with Operations to uphold strong quality and food safety standards. Key Duties Manage and maintain the sites Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with BRCGS Food Standard Version 9. Update procedures and documentation to meet customer Codes of Practice and regulatory requirements. Lead the site through third-party and customer audits, including corrective action management. Oversee and update the HACCP plan. Manage supplier approval, including risk assessments for raw materials, packaging, and service providers. Maintain the internal audit schedule and ensure non-conformances are fully closed out. Investigate and close out customer complaints within agreed timeframes. Maintain QMS document control and ensure up-to-date records. Prepare and present monthly KPI summaries for management review. Manage New Product Development activities. Deliver training to new staff and refresher training to existing employees on site procedures. Person Requirements (Essential) Minimum 2 years experience in a similar technical role within the food processing industry (ideally cook-chill). Strong working knowledge of BRCGS Food Standard Version 9 and major retailer standards. Sound understanding of regulatory requirements for food manufacturing. Third-level qualification in Food Safety, Food Technology, or a related field. Level 3 HACCP certification. Get in contact to discuss further!
