Neway International are seeking Support Workers (CLS/Home Care/Night Care Assistants) to join our client based with Wrexham County Borough Council. Location: Chirk, Wrexham (Community Living Service) Hours: 74 per week Start Date: 27 April 2026 About the Client Wrexham County Borough Council’s Community Living Service provides 24‑hour support to adults with disabilities living in small, shared homes within the community. The service is committed to promoting independence, dignity, choice and inclusion, ensuring each individual is supported to live safely and comfortably in their own home. The Role Support Workers play a vital role in delivering person‑centred care and daily living support to adults with disabilities. Working within a 24/7 service, the postholder will assist with personal care, communication, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks and community access. Support Workers follow individual care plans, behaviour support plans, health action plans and risk assessments to promote wellbeing and positive outcomes. The role also involves maintaining accurate records and upholding the professional standards required by Social Care Wales. Key Responsibilities Provide person‑centred support in line with individual care plans. Assist with personal care, mobility, communication and daily living tasks. Support meal preparation, household duties and maintaining a safe home environment. Enable individuals to access community activities and promote independence. Build professional, supportive relationships with residents and families. Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals. Maintain accurate records and follow all policies, procedures and risk assessments. Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive living environment. Work a rota including days, evenings, weekends, nights and sleep‑ins. Candidate Requirements Experience supporting adults with disabilities or working in care settings (desirable). Ability to deliver compassionate, person‑centred support. Reliable, professional and able to work within a 24/7 rota. Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans accurately. Commitment to safeguarding, dignity and professional standards. Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships.
