Surveyor (Asset Transformation Manager)
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
Midlands: Hybrid – On-site attendance required on occasion
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Transactional Surveyor to support the efficient management of our property portfolio. This role is central to delivering best value from the Council’s land and property assets, through expert handling of property acquisitions, disposals, leases, and other transactions.
You will play a key role in enabling the Council to meet its strategic goals—supporting regeneration, housing delivery, and community services—while ensuring compliance with statutory duties and internal governance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, lease renewals, licences, and wayleaves
2. Provide strategic property advice to support service delivery and estate rationalisation
3. Prepare reports, valuations, and recommendations for Cabinet, committees, and senior management
