Our team is based at our Head Office just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor.
Great opportunity to join our team as Senior Seamstress/Seamster in our Service Centre at Winnington Business Park, Wolstencroft, Northwich.
You will be customer facing, carrying out both chargeable and warranty Rab repairs for customers. This role also involves producing upcycled Second Stitch clothing for resale in the adjoining Mountain Outfitters factory outlet. Hours are a minimum of 24 per week, with some flexibility to increase these.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Seamstress/Seamster (including but not limited to):
* Repair garments and equipment for Rab Service Centre.
* Upcycling of older products and fabrics to create new items for charity, Second Stitch, promo and general resale.
* Collaborate with Garment Technology to review quality control and, garments and equipment construction.
* Reworking factory seconds to ensure quality and usability.
* Maintain a clean and tidy factory space.
* Conduct stock checks of fabrics and spare parts to prevent shortages of key items.
* Attend customer facing events and promote the Rab Service Centre, as required.
* At all times ensure exceptional service standards.
To join us you must have:
Essential:
* Advanced sewing skills, including alterations, hemming, fixing tears, mending zippers and apply buttons.
* Proficiency in pattern making.
* Strong understanding of garment fit and performance.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
* Strong dedication to teamwork and collaboration.
Desirable
* Creative with an interest in upcycling, recycling, and corporate social responsibility.
* Previous experience in a similar industry or working with outdoor equipment/products.

* Salary range £25,552.80 - £28,366.88 per annum pro rata, commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience
