Full-time, Permanent About the Opportunity A well-established and reputable local business is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive team performance, and ensure exceptional customer outcomes. This role would suit someone experienced in people management, operations, and compliance who enjoys coaching others, improving processes, and ensuring high standards across all areas of the business. Youll oversee a friendly and professional team spanning multiple office locations, working closely with senior management to deliver strong performance, sustainable growth, and regulatory excellence. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Oversee daily workloads across Customer Service and Sales teams. Review and allocate incoming calls, emails, and CRM tasks to ensure timely completion. Coach, mentor, and develop staff through one-to-one meetings and performance reviews. Manage absence, holidays, and return-to-work processes effectively. Operational Oversight Maintain strong financial control including credit control management and compliance with company policies. Lead operational audits, implement improvement actions, and uphold high compliance standards. Monitor and review internal processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Ensure GDPR, Health & Safety, and compliance standards are maintained across the business. Training & Development Create and manage training and competence programmes for staff. Ensure CPD, bulletins, and system knowledge are up to date. Support onboarding and induction plans for new starters. Customer Experience & Compliance Manage customer complaints in line with company policy. Champion excellent customer service and ensure service level agreements are achieved. Support the business in achieving sales targets through effective process management. About You Proven experience in operations or office management within a service-led environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. A proactive mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements.
