Our client, a well-established high street practice with a strong presence across North Essex is seeking a skilled General Litigation Solicitor and/or Legal Executive to join their busy team.
Position Overview
As a qualified disputes lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in managing a varied caseload of disputes, ranging from breach of contract and landlord & tenant matters to neighbourhood and civil disputes. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering effective legal solutions to clients while upholding the firm's commitment to client care.
Responsibilities
1. Handle a diverse caseload of general litigation matters, including breach of contract, landlord & tenant issues, neighbourhood disputes, and civil litigation
2. Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients, ensuring their unique needs are met
3. Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court submissions to the highest standards
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution forums
5. Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive, integrated legal services
Requirements
6. Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ years PQE
7. Proven experience managing a caseload of general litigation matters
8. Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
9. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
