Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: Up to £25 per hour (temporary)
Permanent Salary: £36,000 per annum
A company van and fuel card will be provided, covering the South Birmingham area.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned central heating installations, servicing and maintenance across social housing properties.
* Carry out day‑to‑day repairs, servicing and maintenance on heating systems.
* Complete works within void properties, including refurbishments and renewals.
* Perform cooker point alterations and radiator relocations.
* Aim to achieve first‑time fix on all jobs while working within time and budget constraints.
* Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical standards and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Valid Gas Safe Registration
* Current CCN1 and CEN1 gas qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong experience in gas servicing and maintenance
Desirable
* Additional gas qualifications (HTR1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1)
* CSCS card and HAPS test certification
* NVQ or City & Guilds in Heating Engineering or Plumbing
