We're looking for a Site Engineerto join our KierBam JV project at Hinkley Point C based in Bridgewater, Somerset, KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall.
Location: Site Based, Bridgewater, Somerset
Hours: Permanent 45 hours per week - Shift Pattern + salary uplift
Responsibilities
The role of the Site Engineer is to, provide engineering control and supervise production resources, ensuring compliance with project and company systems for a defined area of the works at Hinkley Point C.
Your day to day will include:
* Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, i.e., drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork etc.
* Produce accurate As Built records in compliance with the agreed quality systems
* Deal with problems on site and escalate to Section Engineer where required.
* Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances.
* Regularly checking the setting out points and benchmarks and checking that all setting out instruments and measuring equipment are delivered to site with a calibration certificate and recorded accordingly.
