Job Description
3. Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
4. Identify and evaluate risks, providing recommendations for improvement where necessary.
5. Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management, outlining findings and proposed actions.
6. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
7. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on action plans.
8. Support the development and execution of the annual audit plan.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the healthcare sector.
10. Provide guidance and support to junior team members when required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:
11. A strong background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
12. Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
13. Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably within the healthcare industry.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
16. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
17. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
