The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons while creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Alongside your classroom teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate may also have the opportunity to support phase leadership and contribute to the wider development of the school as a Group Lead.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential
* Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress
* Working collaboratively with year group partners and support staff
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
* Contributing to the wider school community and school events
* Supporting and mentoring colleagues as part of the Group Lead responsibility
* Assisting with curriculum development and maintaining high teaching standards across the phase

The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching within KS1 or Lower KS2
* Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
* Have strong communication and organisational skills
* Be motivated, proactive, and committed to pupil achievement
* Have leadership potential or previous experience leading within a phase or subject area
