This is a great opportunity for a Governance & Executive Support Officer to join a team of governance and executive support officers, making a positive impact across communities in Wales. Based in our Cardiff head office, this dynamic and highly visible role provides vital support to our Executive Directors through diary management, meeting organisation, and follow-up actions, ensuring the leadership team remains focused and informed.
The role involves supporting governance processes, including organising Board and Committee meetings, preparing agendas, collating papers, and producing minutes. Acting as a central contact for the Executive Team, the role requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and communicating professionally. The role also includes research and analysis to support strategic decisions, preparing reports and presentations, and collaborating across the organisation on projects that align with our mission.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with governance policies, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate will be organised, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and make sound decisions.
