Overview
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure that new needs are met, and amend written records to reflect any variation.
* Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing; ensure reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.

About You

* Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

* DBS Disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
