GSL Education are seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Lincoln, providing tailored support to a pupil with complex learning and communication needs.
This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN, focusing on engagement, confidence, and progress.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons adapted to individual learning styles and abilities.
* Implement strategies to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
* Support with personal care and daily routines where required.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN or challenging behaviour (essential).
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable nature.
* Confident in promoting inclusion and positive behaviour support.
* Available for a full-time, ongoing position.
* Holds a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one).
