PURCHASING SPECIALIST

£35,000 PER ANNUM, DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE

Day-to-Day Duties:
Manage purchase orders for raw materials and packaging to meet manufacturing and customer demands
Analyse MRP data to respond to changes in supply needs
Maintain daily communication with production teams and suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries
Update internal systems with accurate purchasing and supplier information
Monitor and report on supplier performance, including non-conforming material issues
Handle base oil pricing, forecasting, quotas, and usage reporting
Support new supplier approvals and price list updates
Collaborate with Commercial Divisional Heads and R&D teams to ensure continuity of quality supply and reduce supplier dependency
