Overview
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday. The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in enabling ND&I's tooling portfolio by translating product vision and business needs into clear, structured requirements that ensure effective design, build, testing and adoption across both AI‑enabled and in‑life digital tools.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers (AI & Automation and In‑Life Tools) to refine use cases, features and backlog items, ensuring they are well‑defined, value‑aligned and ready for development.
- Elicit, analyse and document high‑quality functional and non‑functional requirements across ND&I, producing clear artefacts such as use cases, acceptance criteria and simple process or data views.
- Break down complex business problems into structured components, enabling aligned solution design and predictable delivery across operational and technical teams.
- Collaborate with OSS/IT, technical system leads and Application Engineers to assess feasibility and surface integration, data and security implications early, without owning technical design.
- Support AI & Automation initiatives by documenting automation use cases, business rules, decision logic and required data inputs/outputs, and by helping define measurable success criteria.
- Support lifecycle management of in‑life tools by capturing enhancement needs, assessing impacts across teams and ensuring governance documentation remains complete and auditable.
- Support issue and incident management for ND&I tools by analysing reported problems or defects, clarifying expected behaviour, and working with Product Managers, OSS/IT and delivery teams to enable timely resolution and reduce recurrence.
- Provide BA support to POCs, pilots and MVPs by refining scope, defining acceptance criteria and coordinating structured user feedback.
- Support UAT planning and execution, validating delivered functionality against agreed requirements and business expectations.
- Maintain clear traceability between requirements, development outputs and intended business value throughout delivery.
