Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including ie statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor, report and manage the cash flow of the business.
• Report and analyse sales margins.
• Support the SLT in determining the financial direction of thepany in regard to all finance areas. These will include, but are not limited to, acquisitions, taxation, external sources of funds, banking relationships, managing foreign currency, insurance,mercial assessments of business decisions.
• Ensurepliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure all financial records are accurate and properly maintained.
• Ensurepany finance protocols adhere to the ISO 9001:2015 parameters.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the annual budgeting process and develop forecasts to support business planning.
• Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and rmending corrective actions as necessary.
• Implement effective cashflow and demand forecasting schedules and reporting structures.
• Review monthly budgets across all department leads and update to conform to accuracy across all relevant reports.
• Develop a solid and accurate cashflow forecast and maintain it accordingly.
Financial Operations:
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness – automate where possible.
• Liaise across all departments to determine the accuracy of monthly budgets and forecasts and report anomalies and correct forecasts for effective budget and forecast management and SLT decision process.
• Implement internal controls to safeguardpany assets and mitigate risks.
• Cost control function across pricing and margin controls.
• Implement financial and process controls, along with the Supply Chain and logistics team to manage stock controls more effectively and report to the SLT and widerpany for effective and proactive situation management.
Cash Management:
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs.
• Develop cash management strategies to optimise working capital and minimise borrowing costs.
Financial Planning and Strategy:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial goals and strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Provide financial insights and rmendations to support growth initiatives and investment decisions.
• Keep abreast of global events that may impact the business and proactivelypile strategies to mitigate risk.
Investment Management:
• Review thepany business case opportunities and make rmendations to optimise returns.
• Liaise with the CEO and SLT on investment opportunities and strategy and assess and guide re. risks associated with investment decisions.
Risk Management:
• Identify and assess financial risks, such as market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect thepany's financial interests.
Audit andpliance:
• Coordinate external audits and ensurepliance with audit requirements.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
What you'll need to succeed
• CIMA qualified
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller / Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Highlymercial.
• Experience with payroll processing andpliance.
• Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in ERP Microsoft Excel.
