Volunteer Accounts Person to Assist with Bookkeeping and Submitting Accounts | Accessible Waterways Association CIC
3 days ago - Be among the first 25 applicants
We need someone to keep on top of our bookkeeping (currently only a handful of transactions a month) who is also able to complete our final accounts and submit them to Companies House and HMRC.
What difference will you make?
Your input will alleviate the pressure on the directors managing the accounts. This will allow us to focus on our key work while staying informed about our financial status. As a new CIC, this role will help us adapt and grow the association.
What are we looking for?
We seek someone with solid knowledge of accountancy practices capable of preparing accounts for Companies House and HMRC. The ideal candidate will understand best practices to minimise tax burdens. Formal qualifications are not mandatory, but a demonstrated solid background in this field is essential.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the founder directors, this role is ideally suited for a remote and flexible working arrangement. The main constraints are official reporting deadlines. Responsibilities include preparing basic monthly accounts, tracking donation expenditures, and advising on best practices to maximise revenue use.
