Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. First degree or has appropriate level of senior management experience.
2. Masters’ degree or equivalent relevant experience to the role or demonstrable equivalent working experience.
3. Management qualification.
4. Evidence of continuing professional development.

5. Healthcare qualification.
Experience
Essential criteria
6. Acute NHS hospital operational experience.
7. Extensive line management and problem solving experience.
8. Successful change management experience.
9. Writing, implementing and monitoring policies for quality control and service delivery.
10. Budgetary experience and delivery of Cost Improvement Schemes.
11. Leading and supporting managers with the development of retention and succession plans
12. Able to influence decision making and challenge at a senior level.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
13. Awareness and understanding of the wider NHS Agenda.
14. Knowledge in Clinical Governance.
15. Knowledge of Business Planning and implementation.
