About Our Client
Our client is a charitable organisation turning over approx 50 million. They offer hybrid working (2 days per week in the office) and free parking.
Job Description
3. Support with processing income to the charity
4. Assist treasury team with grant payments
5. Support the AP department
6. Raise purchase orders
7. Creating financial reports using Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)
8. Set up fixed assets in the finance system
9. Assist the financial accountant with month end tasks such as posting journals, accruals and prepayments
10. Help with balance sheet reconciliation
11. Credit control including raising manual invoices
12. Make sure all invoices and coded and reconciled
13. Support with all payment requests
The Successful Applicant
You must have a solid understanding of core accounting principles including debits and credits, and what a balance sheet is. Someone who is AAT Qualified or studying would be ideal. The client is prepared to train someone up in this role as long as they understand the basics of accounting. You will need an intermediate level of Excel including v-lookups and pivot tables.
