A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of my clients based on the outskirts of Dartford, they are looking for someone to head up their Projects Division.
The main purpose of the role is to lead and motivate and manage the projects team as well as identify new opportunities, tendering and delivering projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering projects of up to £3.5 million
* Manage a team of around 15 consisting of Project Managers, Engineers and apprentices
* Managing the financials including WIPs, profitability and budgets
* Ensuring a customer focus environment and relationships are maintained with clients
* Assisting in Business Development
* Provide financial forecasts to the Directors
* Manage delivery of projects within an agreed budget and timeframe
* Ensure projects adhere to QSHE policies and procedures
* Responsible for completion of appraisals, performance reviews, training and development of the team
Key Skills
* Mechanically biased
* Good understanding of CDM regulations
* Live within 1 hour commuting to the head office in Dartford
* Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
* A qualification in mechanical, electrical or air conditioning engineering
* 5 years in a similar role delivering mechanical and electrical projects of up to £3.5 million
