About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Lecturer/Course Manager in Animal Management to join our expanding team.
You will deliver consistently high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of Animal Management programmes. You’ll also support curriculum development, contribute to quality assurance processes, and act as Course Manager for allocated groups—ensuring an exceptional learner experience and high levels of achievement.
As we grow our T Level provision, an understanding of Level 3 delivery and contemporary industry practices is desirable.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching sessions across Animal Management programmes.
2. Assess, support and stretch learners using a range of methods to maximise their potential.
3. Develop innovative curriculum content that meets learner and industry needs.
4. Provide effective Course Management in line with College procedures.
5. Support the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure excellent teaching and learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
6. A minimum Level 4 qualification relevant to Animal Management.
7. Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent.
8. A recognised teaching qualification or experience teaching in Further Education.
9. Relevant industry experience within the animal sector.
10. Demonstrable experience delivering inspirational educational activity.
