Jemca are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a Trade Parts Advisor to join our business based out of our Toyota Croydon dealership. As a Trade Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for keeping the workshop stocked with relevant parts, managing stock levels and sourcing parts from various suppliers whilst managing the cost and time to delivery. You will be required to Provide accurate estimates for parts, ensuring that the customer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved and setting expectations accordingly.
This role would suit an experienced Parts Advisor who Is looking to grow within one of the UK’s best brands, we would look at people with either main dealer or independent experience.
What We Need
1. Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously on an inbound and outbound basis
2. Ability to look up parts and quote prices for parts using proper catalogue for vehicles
3. Parts returns to Toyota and Lexus
4. Updating customers about back-ordered parts and late deliveries
5. Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money
6. Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
7. Offer other products/services that may help the customer
8. The position requires the ability to communicate and work closely and efficiently with others in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
9. Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures and find ways in which to increase productivity
10. Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service
11. Let our customers know of new or current deals
12. Speak to trade and retail customers to try and bring in new business
13. Liaise with the service department to make sure that part delay times are at a minimum
14. Speak to customers over the phone, F2F and by email
Your Skills
15. Have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor
16. Be able to deliver excellent customer service at all times
17. Have a keen interest in cars and drive to learn and develop
18. Be confident in your own ability
19. Strong IT skills and attention to detail
20. Experience working under pressure
21. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
