Job Purpose
You will be responsible for mitigating and reducing all risks and barriers to successful deal closure. You will hold ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the proposed Vysiion solution meets the customer's requirements and is priced accurately, aligning with customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving growth through new business acquisition to meet sales targets of £2-5M in first-year revenue for Vysiion and Exponential-e solutions.
* Building a qualified pipeline to support growth and ensure successful sales target achievement.
* Qualifying sales opportunities to ensure resources are focused on the most promising prospects.
* Updating the company's CRM and sales pipeline management tools, accurately forecasting opportunity value, close dates, bid status, and margins.
* Leading teams towards shared goals, liaising with bid management, technical, delivery, and service teams.
* Managing communications with key stakeholders and leadership, securing approvals at each sales stage.
* Developing and updating sales and account plans to demonstrate performance against targets.
* Building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, maintaining an opportunity pipeline ideally three times the sales target.
* Understanding customer drivers beyond bid documentation.
* Communicating win themes to bid teams and leading pursuit strategies confidently.
* Contributing to a positive team culture and organizational success.
* Managing opportunities from suspect to prospect, ensuring qualification based on capability, client relationship, strategic fit, budget, complexity, legal considerations, and other criteria.
* Articulating how Vysiion's solutions deliver customer benefits, value, revenue, and margin, and countering competitors' approaches.
Key Tasks
* Selling Vysiion and Exponential-e solutions into CNI and Utilities markets.
* Maintaining account plans and accurate forecasts using CRM tools.
* Promoting Vysiion's brand through industry events and building support networks.
