Orals Packaging Team Leader (2 shift)
Lead the orals packaging team to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality packaging operations. Coach operators, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering, quality and supply teams to meet production plans.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coach the orals packaging team to deliver safe, on‑time and quality‑controlled packaging output.
* Manage shift activities, work allocation and team handovers to meet daily production targets.
* Monitor adherence to procedures and compliance standards; raise and manage deviations and corrective actions.
* Support continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce defects and improve safety.
* Work closely with engineering and quality to resolve equipment or process issues and support change controls.
* Develop team capability through training, performance feedback and practical on‑the‑job coaching.
Basic Qualification
* Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
* Practical knowledge of packaging equipment, line operations and basic troubleshooting.
* Experience working in a regulated or quality‑controlled environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to give clear feedback and instructions in English.
* Demonstrable commitment to safety, quality and following standard operating procedures.
* Ability to work shifts and make calm decisions under operational pressure.
Preferred Qualification
* Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device packaging operations.
* Experience with electronic batch records, manufacturing execution systems or digital packaging systems.
* Formal training in safety or production management (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
* Experience leading continuous improvement projects or using structured problem‑solving methods.
* Experience managing permit‑to‑work activities, isolations or safe access procedures.
* Previous experience coaching and developing operator performance on shift.
