Join a Market-Leading Fleet Operation An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join one of the world’s leading fleet management businesses. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their Newcastle workshop team with a skilled and motivated HGV Technician.
The Role As an HGV Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining fleet safety, reliability, and performance standards. Working on a range of premium commercial vehicles including Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford, your responsibilities will include:
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HGVs and specialist vehicles
* Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
* Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring DVSA compliance
* Completing all work to manufacturer and company standards
* Supporting workshop efficiency and minimising vehicle downtime
What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have:
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
