Overview
About you
Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity? Here at Swanton, we are looking for people who share our core values and are able to apply these to the work that they do. At the heart of our ethos are five key words, these underpin the PRIDE we take in our services: Potential, Responsibility, Integrity, Diversity, Empathy.
You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team. Experience of challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities is preferred but all training will be provided. This position is for one of our homes in a rural area near Doune, close to Stirling. There are local bus routes, although holding a valid UK licence would be desirable but not essential. Do you want to make a real difference in someone’s life when you come to work? We are able to offer an exciting opportunity in 3 brand new, purpose built, individual flats in a Supported Living Service to join the team that will provide person centred support for three individuals looking to move on in their journey towards maximizing their independence. We are looking for experienced staff who are excited at the prospect of helping the people we support to mold and shape their service from the outset.
You will be supported by a management structure that will include a Team Leader, Scheme Manager and the Registered Manager who will all be committed to creating an environment for you in which you will feel supported, encouraged and inspired to deliver the best support you are capable of on a daily basis. Where your well-being is a priority, as the well-being of the people we support, as will yours. Swanton Care understands the significantly important role Support Workers play in peoples lives and our organisation as a whole. Come and join us and discover the genuine impact you can make.
