The Change & Transformation Branch are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Central Design Team. This is an exciting time for Greater Manchester Police, who has set an ambitious transformation and change agenda. The Change & Transformation Branch is responsible for the portfolio of business change which consists of a number of strategic programmes, each of which will bring transformational change across the organisation, including structures, processes and technology. As a Business Analyst you will use a range of specialist tools and techniques to help police officers and staff to identify and articulate the case for change. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you will enable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design sustainable solutions, which will achieve desired outcomes and benefits. The post is a career graded post, with an additional 15% Market Rate Supplement. The essential short-listing criteria for each grade are outlined in the person specification, including: • Experience of qualitative and quantitative data capture and analysis • Experience of identifying issues, identifying process or system improvements to address the issues and developing solutions • The ability to present complex information in writing and verbally, along with interpersonal skills liaising with managers and stakeholders at all levels • Ability to work independently, managing multiple pieces of work with tight deadlines • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques, and knowledge of the project life cycle The position will be based at the Force Headquarters, but the successful candidate must be willing to work flexibly at different locations across the force.
