We are a South Wales-based fire protection company specialising in passive fire compartmentation, including fire door installation and fire stopping works. With head office in Abercynon, we operate across South Wales and beyond.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled Carpenter/Joiner who is looking to develop a long-term career in the passive fire protection industry.
The Role
The successful candidate will be trained to carry out:
* Installation of certified fire doors
* Upgrades and remedial works to existing fire doors
* Installation of fire stopping systems
* Compartmentation works in line with current fire safety regulations
* Recording and documenting works in accordance with compliance requirements
Full specialist fire protection training will be provided, including:
* Practical Fire Door Installation Training
* Practical Fire Stopping Installation Training
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Qualified or time-served Carpenter/Joiner
* Strong attention to detail
* Good understanding of site work and construction environments
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work on various sites
* Flexible approach to work and adaptability
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry/Joinery
* Experience fitting doors
* CSCS card
* Experience working in occupied buildings (social housing, commercial, healthcare etc.)
