Your Role
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, skilled, and innovative teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will:
* Support the education of children across the South region.
* Provide guidance to foster carers, schools, and a wide network of professionals.
* Utilize your adaptability to teach across all key stages and support children with complex needs.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Relevant classroom experience
* The ability to be flexible and creative in supporting children's education
* Strong decision-making skills to resolve complex educational issues
* A working knowledge of the educational needs and entitlements for children and young people
Your Responsibilities
As an Advisory Teacher, you will:
* Advise on education provision for children within the centre.
* Monitor the educational progress of all children associated with the centre.
* Support centre staff on educational matters.
* Assist in developing education support policies and procedures.
* Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to advise on childcare and personal education plans.
* Liaise with professionals to ensure each child's educational needs are met.
* Work in partnership with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals.
* Maintain accurate education case records.
* Promote relationships with schools and local authority professionals.
