Overview
Early Learners Nursery (Wigan) is a newly opened setting in March 2025 and we are looking for someone to join our growing team. Early Learners Nurseries has been caring for babies and young children since 1985 and is a family run company. We want passionate Early Years Professionals to join our expanding workforce.
Responsibilities
* Support the manager and the team in day-to-day operations.
* Oversee and successfully deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance (EYFS).
* Manage and care for children, support parents and carers, and work collaboratively with others.
* Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported to reach their full potential.
Qualifications
* Minimum Early Years qualification of level 3+, childcare degree and/or NQT, equivalent or higher.
* All employees must be registered with the DBS update service.
* Understand responsibilities and suitability requirements for roles involving care of children.

* Be prepared to discuss your comfort and confidence working within our environment and to ask questions
Interview
* The interview is led by a member of our management team and covers childcare history and experience, SEN/Disabilities experience, qualifications, EYFS knowledge, safeguarding and child protection, and Prevent Duty & British Values.
