Working Hours
Monday-Thursday: 7:55am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:55am – 2:15pm (start your weekend early!)
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, providing production status updates, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers. You will also closely monitor the production process to ensure that orders are completed on time and within budget.
Accountabilities of a Production Planner
* Developing and communicating a production plan to maintain correct stock levels and a continuous flow of finished goods to customers.
* Coordinating production operations considering labour, material, and equipment availability.
* Adjusting production schedules to meet deadlines.
* Informing relevant departments of schedule changes.
* Using SAP MRP to produce required material quantities on time.
* Planning downtime requests and managing safety stock.
* Preparing and communicating status and performance reports (actual vs. planned).
* Addressing and resolving production issues proactively to minimize delays.
* Monitoring and reporting on customer delivery performance.
* Monitoring inventory levels against targets.
* Managing bill of materials (BOM) including raw materials, assemblies, and components.
* Recommending solutions to reduce costs and improve processes and quality.
* Supporting new product introductions, including process allocation.
* Following escalation procedures for issues.
* Adhering to quality standards and QMS requirements.
