Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role isunfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker/Skilled Worker Routevisa route. This is due to the position not meeting theminimum salary threshold of £41,700 per annumand/or the requiredskill levelset by UK Visas and Immigration.

To support the administrative functions within the Outpatient Booking Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.


Main duties of the job

Uploading of referral letters to the Evolve scanning system.

* To provide administrative support across the department by printing and processing worklists off the national e-Referral System (eRS) onto the Patient Administration System (PAS).
* Processing of new patient referrals from the eRS.
* Joint team working to ensure workloads across the department are prioritised and up to date. This includes all office duties.
* To be conversant with PAS.

Job responsibilities

* Undertake Electronic scanning on the Evolve system.
* Make telephone calls to appropriate staff or departments so any issues can be resolved.
* Sort and distribute incoming post to the relevant teams.
* Undertake any training required for the role.
* Any other duties commensurate with the role.

Person Specification


Knowledge

* General knowledge of admin processes


Experience

* Experience using data bases


Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Enthusiastic & confident apprach to change
* Calm and reliable under pressure
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team using own initiative where necessary
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload and multi task
* Methodical, systematic approach to work and keen eye for detail


Qualifications

* Good general education- 5 GCSE's or relevant office experience
