Landscape Field Supervisor
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
The Field Supervisor plays an essential leadership role in ensuring the successful execution of our commercial landscape division. This position oversees crew performance, quality control, equipment readiness, routing efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, mechanically inclined, and an effective communicator with a commitment to operational excellence and team growth.

Key Responsibilities
* Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction
* Send out monthly quality check emails to commercial clients to collect feedback.
* Conduct weekly quality inspections for commercial clients.
* Keep and update a Quality Complaint & Repair Log, making sure all issues are resolved within 48 hours.
* Lead daily Morning Meetings with field crew(s).
* Perform daily Truck Standards checks to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
* Coordinate supply runs, ensuring truck(s) remain stocked with essentials (e.g., 2-cycle oil, bump disks, string trimmer line, end caps, etc.).
* Equipment Oversight
* Conduct daily visual inspections of all equipment.
* Coordinate repairs with Fleet Services.
* Handle simple maintenance in-house (spark plugs, air filters, oil changes, blade sharpening).
* Maintain assigned materials/equipment and maximize their useful life.
* Enforce safety policies strictly and company policy consistently.
* Monitor tool assignments and loss/damage; hold team member accountable as needed
* Support & Emergency Response
* Assist crews in the field with equipment failures, forgotten tools/supplies, and additional support as needed to keep routes on track.
* Routing & Efficiency
* Ensure all routes are planned and trucks are properly routed each day.
* Monitor and maintain efficiency standards for commercial routes.
* Training & Development
* Train all new hires in company processes, procedures, equipment handling, and safety standards.
Minimum Job Requirements for Field Supervisor
* This position requires a proactive leader with a strong work ethic and a self-starter who can engage with the public and our employees.
* You will need to know your way around mowers, trimmers, tractors, etc. - how to operate them and perform preventative maintenance.
* If you don\'t already have them, you must be willing to complete training to get all required certifications and licenses within 6 months, if needed.
* Clean driving history with experience driving a trailer and or box truck.

Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
* Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in landscaping or lawn care operations.
* Strong knowledge of landscape equipment and maintenance practices.
* Mechanical aptitude for simple repairs and diagnostics
* Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
* Ability to solve problems quickly in the field.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not mandatory.

* Outdoor field work in various weather conditions
* Occasional lifting of 50+ lbs
* Frequent driving between job sites and vendors
