We are currently seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN school. You will be working with pupils from Early Years to Key Stage 5, supporting their academic, emotional, and personal development.
The Role – Learning Support Assistant As a Learning Support Assistant, your role will include:
 * Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
 * Working with students with a range of special educational needs, including:
 o ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition)
 o ADHD
 o SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs)
 o PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
 * Assisting with personal care tasks when required
 * Creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
 * Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver high-quality SEN support
Requirements – Learning Support Assistant To be considered for this role, you should have:
 * A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
 * A degree or relevant childcare/education qualification (desirable)
 * Previous experience working with children with SEN, especially ASC or PMLD (desirable)
 * A calm, patient, and nurturing personality
 * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
 * A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to learning
 * Willingness to support with personal care needs
