Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator required for a reputable accident repair group in Sunderland

This role offers an excellent basic salary of up to £42,000 (dependant on experience) with an OTE of up to £50,000. Audatex experience is essential for this position.
Our client, a prominent accident repair group in Sunderland, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator to join their busy on-site bodyshop. You will be working alongside a team of professionals, liaising with the parts department, and delivering exceptional customer service through accurate damage assessments and detailed reports.

The successful Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator will:
1. Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage
2. Document vehicle conditions accurately with reports and photos
3. Evaluate repair estimates and determine necessary repairs
4. Communicate assessment findings effectively to customers, insurers, and repair teams
5. Review repair estimates for accuracy and completeness
6. Identify any additional damages that may need attention
7. Ensure assessments comply with industry standards and safety regulations
8. Provide recommendations for repair strategies and cost efficiencies
9. Maintain detailed records of inspections and communications
10. Stay updated on repair techniques, industry policies, and regulations
11. Assist in post-repair inspections to verify quality standards
12. Support the claims process and negotiations as needed
13. Use specialised tools and software, including Audatex, for assessments
14. Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and customer expectations
The Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator will receive:
15. A highly competitive basic salary up to £42,000 depending on experience
16. An OTE of up to £50,000 depending on basic salary
