About the role:

Based at the Northern Sales Hub in Doncaster, this role supports sales activity across seven racecourses and five greyhound tracks.

The Racing Sales Office Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the Racing Sales Office, predominantly leading on sales administration processes, ensuring systems, data, and reporting are accurate and well maintained for 12 venues. Working closely with the Racing Sales Manager North, the role coordinates team activity to ensure outbound calls, enquiries, bookings, and client accounts are managed efficiently, consistently, and in line with group standards. By driving disciplined processes and system integrity, the role supports effective sales activity and maximises revenue delivery

1. Sales Administration Leadership

8. Exercise leadership responsibility for the Sales Administrator, Annual Membership Coordinator and Sales Revenue Controller
9. Prioritise and coordinate workload, staffing rotas, casual support team management, remuneration submissions and employee expenses
10. Set targets and expectations, monitor progress, proactively address performance and act as a role model promoting professionalism, accuracy and accountability

2. Systems, Processes & Compliance

11. Overall ownership and management of the CRM system (EMS), ensuring data accuracy, compliance and effective use
12. Manage online sales platforms including racecourse and greyhound websites and Seat Unique
13. Oversee integration, training, SOPs and contract management, ensuring accuracy, timely execution and GDPR compliance

3. Commercial Support & Revenue Focus

14. Support Sales Executives with outbound sales activity and revenue maximisation across all streams (including EVH and sponsorship) through upselling and cross-selling
15. Manage the annual membership budget, develop initiatives to drive sales growth and apply sales incentives

4. Team Coordination & Sales Activity

16. Drive team activity including calls, enquiries and follow up, ensuring adherence to customer journey targets and alignment with sales objectives
17. Promote a productive, collaborative environment encouraging high performance and accountability

5. Collaboration & Standards

18. Work closely with the Racing Sales Manager North to deliver objectives
19. Attend and support meetings, communicate actions, and deputise as required including overseeing the EVH Hub
20. Ensure exceptional service standards across the sales office

The person we are looking for as a Racing Sales Office Manager has…..

21. Experience working across multi‑venue or multi‑site operations (e.g., racecourses, events, leisure, hospitality).
22. Prior involvement in membership management and budget‑holding responsibilities.
23. Experience attending or supporting senior-level meetings (Sales & Marketing) or contributing to strategic discussions.
24. Familiarity with event‑related revenue streams (e.g., EVH, sponsorship).
25. Ability to develop and maintain SOPs and operational processes.
26. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with high activity levels (calls, enquiries, follow‑ups).
27. Confidence in supporting sales teams to meet targets and objectives
